Editorial Guidelines
These guidelines explain how the IndoreRent editorial team creates and maintains our rental guides so readers — and search engines — can trust what they read here.
Who writes our content
Guides are written and reviewed by the IndoreRent Editorial team, which works directly with the platform's listing data and with property owners renting in Indore. Every article names its author and shows its publish and last-updated dates.
How we ensure accuracy
- We prefer first-hand, verifiable facts — data from live listings (average rents, BHK availability) over generic claims.
- We do not invent local specifics (named colleges, hospitals, or landmarks) unless we can verify them.
- Rent figures are described as ranges/averages that change over time, never as fixed guarantees.
- Legal topics (agreements, deposits, tenant rights) are written in plain language and are informational, not legal advice.
Sourcing
Where a guide references a place or institution, we link to a reliable public source. Rental figures come from listings published on IndoreRent. We clearly separate factual information from practical opinion.
Freshness & corrections
Articles carry a published date and, when revised, a last-updated date. If you spot an error, email support@indorerent.com and we will review and correct it. Material corrections are reflected in the updated date.
Independence
IndoreRent is a direct-owner rental marketplace with zero brokerage. Our guides are written to help renters and owners make good decisions — not to push any single listing.
